Lost in Translation...

Do you ever feel like everything you say, think or do...no one really understands it. Like you're speaking a foreign language at times. You wonder how one simple idea, word, thought or action can get so "lost" in translation. Maybe it's because we're not the best communicators, maybe it's because (we/I) expect too much, or maybe it's simply because people choose to hear what they want to hear, see what they want to see and believe what they want to believe...so the real message never really makes it through to them. It's like every human has a built-in filter made up from their own pain, happiness and life experiences. So, can anyone ever truly understand where we are coming from or are we ever really heard? I guess the game of "telephone" we played as kids was actually prepping us for real life. ;)
